Ars Aevi

Ars Aevi Sarajevo is a museum of contemporary art in Sarajevo. It was formed during the war as a "resistance of culture". It has approximately 130 works by renowned world artists including Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jannis Kounellis, Joseph Beuys, Braco Dimitrijević and Joseph Kosuth.
A new museum building, designed by Renzo Piano, is planned to be open by 2009.
