Arqueología mexicana

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arqueología mexicana (English: Mexican Archaeology) is a bi-monthly publication edited by the Mexican Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (National Institute of Anthropology and History, or INAH). Although in Mexico it is sold in some magazine shops, it is rather a scholarly journal. The first issue of the journal, devoted to Teotihuacán, was published on April-May in 1993.

Arqueología mexicana contains articles of renowned scholars, a wide selection of photographs on the diverse Mesoamerican cultures, as well as maps and chronograms that provide a modern understanding of the Mesoamerican legacy.
