I removed the section where his "funny turns" are related to a possible rejection from the army; as seen in "The battle of the giants" and otherwise, Hodges served in the First World War with some distinction - he even has some medals. --Sponsianus 21:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Was Hodges Mrs Pike's landlord? I seem to recall in one episode it was mentioned that he owned the house in which she lived with Frank (and Sgt Wilson). Arcturus 22:10, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that was in High Finance during season 8. It is however not mentioned elsewhere and seems like a late addition.--Sponsianus 23:30, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Wasn't his name Willie Hodges? I don't recall him ever being referred to as Bert during the series.

Yes I agree - he was never mentioned as "Bert" but instead as Willie or William officially. The article ARP Warden Bert Hodges redirects to the ARP Warden William Hodges anyway so I have changed all of the links on the episode's casts to the ARP Warden William Hodges article instead Whym 13:00, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
