[edit] Comparison of Subnotebooks

If you move content, please state you are doing so and to where in the comment. Actually, GFDL requires this. Thank you.--Kozuch (talk) 10:47, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok, this happened a second time. I now know how to move these pages properly (the move tab). Moving the page, to one of the same name sans capitalisation gave me an error. Sorry to annihilate the page's history a second time. This was at your request this time, so you can't complain Kozuch. Aronzak (talk) 09:24, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

While I appreciate your edits on this article, providing proper edit comments would be nice. Also, I did not exactly trace the move, but I think what should have been done is simply copy-pasting contents from the old page to the new one (because "Comparison of subnotebooks" already existed, so the page could not be moved with the "move" tab). You seem to have struggled with the move a bit - if you have a question, feel free to ask to help yourself. Regards, Kozuch (talk) 15:49, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Subnotebooks move

It looks like you're having trouble with a page-move. Let me help out - they can get pretty messy if they're done wrong. What is it that you want done?-Wafulz (talk) 18:29, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Done now, just sacrificed the page's history. The problem is probably to do with the destination page having a history, even if it is blank (was previously a redirect)Aronzak (talk) 14:30, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Aspire One

A tag has been placed on Aspire One, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ——Ryan | tc 12:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, didn't see that. Can you link to the debate or summarise it here?
Also, see Comparison of subnotebooks, It has links to upcoming models, which are not out yet (though may have generated much more publicity, and had reviews of some prototypes)
Oh, it was for blatant advertising. Maybe leave it until there are reviews from respectable sources.
Dump of page if it does gets deleted;

Acer aspire One is a brand for an upcoming low cost 8.9″laptop. It will run Windows XP and Linpus Linux[1]. It is expected to cost $379USD.
