[edit] My interests on Wikipedia
[edit] Main interests
These are the thematic areas I'm most interested in reading/watching and editing, possibly contributing new articles:
[edit] Other interests
These are the areas I don't consider myself competent enough to write about, but which I like to research and read about. Of course I will still correct any errors I find, typographical or factual.
[edit] About Me
I'm a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry, also Electrical engineering and Computer Hardware Technician and currently pursuing a degree in Electronics. I like reading, mostly Science Fiction and watching TV series and films, mostly SF and Fantasy/Horror (what can I do, watching movies about Mafia and such give me nightmares ;). From time to time, I like to play a CRPG game. I'm Croatian, consequently European and also, well, Earthling ;) or actually a World Citizen
Well I guess that can explain some of the above mentioned interests. In short, I'm sorta jack of all trades (and as it goes, master of none... well maybe a few ;)
[edit] Me, a Wikipedian?
I am not getting involved into any particular Wikiproject for now, because I have too many different interests to focus on one. I am mainly a Wikignome anyway :)
I will not correct errors in grammar and style here, because I'm not a native English speaker. I'll be satisfied just if I manage to make my own text readable and reasonably correct. However I will correct any typo, misspelling, factual error or any other mistake. Of course, I'll also remove any vandalism I spot.
And if anyone needs anything I can help with, please don't hesitate to ask!
One more thing to say, something like an oath to Wikipedia: I will be bold! And I will err. Very often. I promise. :)

[edit] My opinion on userboxes
As I believe in the freedom of speech, I support the idea that users should be able to express themselves as they wish on their userpages. Userboxes a great tool for that in my opinion, and they allow several people who share an opinion to use boxes that describe that. I still fully support the idea that WP articles should be NPOV, which is more than appropriate for an encyclopedia. However, userpages are outside of that scope and it should be allowed people to be themselves in any way they wish. Although it is stated that many userboxes may cause conflicts and divisions (and so can any other personal content which user can write), I believe everyone should in fact respect other people's opinions and beliefs and not criticize them for it, so let them express what they think. NOTE: Besides the freedom of speech and respect of opinins I've mentioned, I do not support it as an absolute rule as some other free speech supporters do. For example, I do not believe it should be applicable to racism, any form of chauvinism, spam and other things based on hatred or prejudice or any other reasons with sole purpose to harm or annoy people and/or make some personal benefit on the behalf of others. Such userboxes should be avoided, together with any other form of expression of such thoughts. Positive criticism based on facts that prove some harm was or may be done are something different of course. The main concept of free speech as I see it is letting the others say and think whatever you may disagree with, but brings no harm to anyone. All I said above is based on that I am not only liberal, but also a humanist. And beware, my userboxes state I'm a bleeding-heart-liberal-pacifist who will fight to the death for my beliefs. ;)
[edit] OK, now the actual userboxes!
