[edit] Books written by Arno Gruen

Seems as if there are only two of his books availabe in English language. Is this really true?

[1] This is about Murray Cox, a british psychoanalyst and psychiatrist, to whoms work Gruen refers with much respect. I don't know what to do with this information yet, but perhaps one day it will make sense for the article in the making.

Of his many books, Dr. Gruen had two books published in English, THE BETRAYAL OF THE SELF, and THE INSANITY OF NORMALITY. Both books went out of print. THE INSANITY OF NORMALITY came back into print in March, 2007, with an edition from Human Development Books in Berkeley. THE BETRAYAL OF THE SELF will come back into print in summer of 2007, also from Human Development Books.
