Arnold Mikelson (1922-1984) was a Latvian artist who specialized in wood carvings.
Born in Latvia, he fled the country during the Second World War and lived in England before moving to Canada. His most famous works were elaborate wood carvings of birds and animals, as well as more abstract, thematic pieces.
He was married to Mary Mikelson, a politician in White Rock, British Columbia.
