Arnold Bauman

Arnold Bauman (b. July 25, 1914, New York, NY, d. November 21, 1989, New York, NY) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Judge Bauman received a B.B.A. from St. John's University in 1934 and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1937. He was nominated to the court by Richard M. Nixon on December 2, 1971, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294, confirmed by the Senate on December 11, 1971, and received his commission on December 15, 1971. His service terminated on August 15, 1974, due to resignation.
