Arnie Stuthman

Arnie Stuthman (b. 1941) is a Nebraska state senator from Platte Center, Nebraska in the Nebraska Legislature and also farmer and livestock feeder.

He was born on June 25, 1941, in Colfax County, Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School in 1959. He was a former member of the U.S. Air National Guard, chairman or president of many agricultural organizations. He currently is the chairman of the Platte County supervisors, board of directors of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He has 4 children: Jeff Todd Amy and Eric. he has 7 grandchildren Christopher Mitchel Hillary (Amy's children) Trey Blair (Todd's children) Tony and Hannah (Jeff's children) and Eric has a baby coming in february of 2008 which is a boy

He was elected in 2002 to represent the 22nd Nebraska legislative district. He currently sits on the Health and Human Services, Transportation and Telecommunications, Executive Board, and Reference committees as well as the Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Compact Commission.
