TV.com summary

Arnie was a television series that ran from 1970 to 1972 (2 seasons) on the CBS network. It starred Herschel Bernardi as the protagonist. It also starred Sue Ane Langdon, Roger Bowen, and Charles Nelson Reilly (second season only).

Bernardi plays the title character, Arnie Nuvo, a longtime blue collar employee at the fictitious Continental Flange Company, who was promoted to an executive position. The story lines mainly focused on this fish out of water situation. His name seems to be a pun on nouveau riche (which his promotion effectively makes him), and possibly also on Art Nouveau.
