Arne Sunde

Arne Toralf Sunde (December 6, 1883 – July 30, 1972) was a Norwegian politician. He served as Minister of Justice from 1930 to 1931 and again from 1933 to 1935, and as councillor of state of the Ministry of Justice in 1940. He served as Minister of Provisioning from 1940 to 1942, and Minister of Shipping from 1942 to 1945. He also served as Norway's Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations in the early years of that organization. During these years, he twice served as president of the Security Council, in June of 1949 and again in July of 1950.
