Heiligenschein around head of Buzz Aldrin's shadow due to extreme retroreflective properties of lunar regolith. This is an enlargement of the reflection in Aldrins visor, cropped from the famous image, catalog number AS11-40-5903, downloaded from Wikimedia Commons "Aldrin Apollo 11.jpg". The white figure to the right is the photographer, Neil Armstrong.
