Image:Armenianottomanarmyofficer.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a photograph of my grandfather's relative, Galust Dadrian, who was an army officer in the Ottoman Empire's military. His brother was also a soldier in the army who was subsequently killed during the Armenian Genocide. Realizing the fate he would soon suffer, he escaped but was caught and executed by Ottoman soldiers in 1915.

The image is extremely old and I had to do a lot of touch up work using Photoshop. There was a 'scratch' around his eyes and so I did my best to restore it.
