Armwood High School, located in Seffner, Florida, on U.S. Highway 92 opened in August of 1984. The school is named after Blanche Armwood, a longtime Tampa resident and contributor. The school's mascot is the "Hawk".

The school is known for its excellent football program, which started in 1996 under head coach Sean Callahan. The Football team has made 3 straight FHSAA state final appearances, including a championship in 2004 and 2005 and a close loss in 2006.
