Armando Rivera was the host of WBMX's radio show - Saturday Night Live "Ain't No Jive" Chicago Dance Party that featured the Hot Mix 5. He worked at KROD, KELP in El Paso, TX before being hired by Program Director Lee Michaels at WBMX while still a teenager. When WBMX was sold to Broadcast Partners and changed formats to Urban AC he went to WGCI-FM and hosted a mix show "Club 1075." He is currently the Assistant Program Director/Music of WVAZ-FM (V103) formerly WBMX.
