Armando Riveiro de Aguilar Malda, Armando (born January 16, 1971 in Sopelana) is a Spanish football goalkeeper, currently playing for Athletic Bilbao.

Armando spent most of his career at Cádiz CF who, on January 2008, loaned him out to La Liga's Basque side of Athletic Bilbao, who had lost first-choice Gorka Iraizoz for six months.

In a March 15 away match against Real Betis, Armando was hit by a bottle thrown from a Betis fan, with twenty minutes left and Bilbao leading 2-1. He needed six stitches to a wound just inches below the eye, as Athletic were late awarded the win by the Federation.[1]
