Armando Picchi

Armando Picchi (June 20, 1935 – May 26, 1971) was an Italian football player and coach.
Born in Livorno, Picchi played for Milanese outfit Internazionale, where as captain he won 3 national titles, two European Champions Cups and two Intercontinental Cups in the 1960s. He played for the Inter Milan team known as La Grande Inter. After his playing career was over, he went on to coach Juventus, but he died early because of cancer. The football stadium of Livorno is named after him.
