Armand-Charles de la Porte de La Meilleraye

Armand-Charles de la Porte de La Meilleraye (1632 – November 9, 1713, Meilleray) was the Grand Master and Captain General of Artillery in France.

Son of Charles de La Porte and nephew of Richelieu, he was marquis of La Porte. He later on became marquis of La Meilleraye and then duke of Mayenne and of Mazarin. In addition, he was made a French peer, duke of La Meilleraye and peer of France, Prince of Château-Porcien, marquis of Montcornet, as well as count of Marle and of La Fère. He served as Grand Master of the French Artillery in 1646 or 1648.
On March 1, 1661, he married Hortense Mancini, niece of the Cardinal Mazarin.
