Description

Asmund Arle´s bronze sculpture from 1964, Människa och pelare (Man and pillar), also called Ellika med dockan (Ellika with her doll). This sculpture is situated near the western end of the platform at Subway Station Mariatorget (exit Wollmar Knutssonsgatan), Stockholm, Sweden. It´s quite popular and new castings have had to be made, as it has been stolen at least twice. The model is the daughter of the artist. The first workíng model in gypsum was created 1961, when Ellika was six years old.
