[edit] Arkay Renko
Is clearlu Ukrainian. This is explained in "Wolves Eat Dogs". The Renko name is Ukrainian, not Russian. WWStone 22:07, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I've just read that novel, "Wolves Eat Dogs". The name Renko is mentioned as being Ukrainian, but from Renko's attitude and reflections about the Ukrainians in Chernobyl and from the fact that he is repeatedly corrected because he pronounces the cities name "Chernobyl" (Russian pronounciation) instead of "Chornobyl" (Ukrainian pronounciation) I think it is safe to conclude that he is Russian.
