Arkansas Traveler (boat line)

The boats were produced by a boat company based in Little Rock Arkansas. SouthWest Manufacturing, Inc (out of business?).

The boats were constructed through the 1950's and 1960's with an Aluminum or fiberglass hulls and were powered by outboard motors. The boats were available in a variety of configurations ranging from bare bones outboard with tiller controlled direction to units with a center console and windscreen.
Construction techniques used included through hull riveting with pounded rivets.
The boats were very durable, and many are still in service today.
