Arkansas Highway 471
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Highway 471 is the former designation of Business US 71 between Fayetteville and Rogers following the old alignment of U.S. 71 through Fayetteville, Springdale and Rogers.
Its southern terminus was at U.S. Highway 71 south of Fayetteville and its northern terminus was at the U.S. 71 Expressway (now Interstate 540) at the Rogers- Bentonville city limits. The designation was changed in 1989 after locals complained that people passing through the area would not know that Arkansas 471 was "old" U.S. 71 .
