Arkansas Highway 100
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Highway 100 is the former designation of U.S. Route 71 between Bentonville and the Arkansas-Missouri state line north of Bella Vista. Running approximately 11 miles, its southern terminus was in Bentonville at the intersection of Central Ave and SW A Street. Its northern terminus was at the Arkansas-Missouri State Line where it continued as Route 88. By the mid 1960's, Highway 100 had been replaced by a new alignment of U.S. 71.
A new Highway 100 currently consists of two sections. The eastern portion, located in North Little Rock, runs approximately 2 miles between U.S. Route 70 and Highway 365. The western portion, begins at Highway 365 near Morgan and runs approximately 9 miles, ending at Interstate 40 near Crystal Hill. The town of Maumelle is the only other community on this route.
