Arkadas Association

Located in Yehud, Israel, Arkadaş (Pronounced Arkadash - Turkish equivalent of the word Friend) Association was founded in 2003 by Eyal Peretz. The Association's main goals are to preserve and promote the Turkish Jewish Heritage and gather as much information in the "Turkish Jewish culture center" in addition to that Arkadaş association is active to promote the friendship and tolerance between the Israeli and the Turkish people. In 2005 the association has established the "The Turkish Jewish culture center" in Yehud

Monument of Ataturk , which was situated in the garden of Arkadaş Association, was opened with a ceremonial attended also by Turkey's Tel Aviv Ambassador Namık Tan on 2nd. November 2007. this monument was also the first monument of Ataturk in Israel.
