[edit] License tagging for Image:Outsider ch1cv sm.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Outsider ch1cv sm.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flamarande

Hy, I am Flamarande (obviously) and I just want to say that I like your comic allot. Unlike soo many others one can feel the effort you made to make the "Outsiderverse" quite believable and you have neatly avoided the old "Evil versus Good" cliche. I am newbie concerning webcomics but I have searched allot and like yours the best (that might change as soon I find something better :). Besides Outsider I also like Crimsondark [1] who also makes a great effort concerning realism (as if science-fiction could ever be really realistic :) and Alpha Shade.

It seems that we lost the fight over the Outsider article; well it's Wikipedia's loss mostly, and there isn't alot we can do about it. As I am writing these lines overeager User:TylerXKJ recreated the article ilegally. He might get banned for this, and while I like the article a great deal (man I wrote a large part of it) I don't really believe that this is the way to go. I couldn't find his KEEP vote anywhere, that's a bit funny. I will be watching the whole affair and if I can find the proper "thirdparty" review and critic I will request a legal undeletion. I going on vacation for a week so I will be unable to reply any posts. I do have some questions about the comic and as I return I will present them to you (here or the Outsider blog, whatever you think better). Flamarande 20:44, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey Arioch, I found out about deletion of the comic only now, I'd have voted keep like the last time. Oh well - keep making new pages, and we will see the popularity raise and be back on Wiki :) But even so, our work here is not lost: see Wikipedia:WikiProject Webcomics/Deletion, and if it has not been moved there, I'd be happy to wave my magic (admin) wand and retrieve the deleted content so we can copy it to the Comixpedia.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  03:02, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
