[edit] License tagging for Image:Crazy Penguin.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Crazy Penguin.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Wittering

Please note that articles on Wikipedia are not "your" articles or anybody elses, even if you create them, and they are open for anybody to edit. Also note that adding comments regarding your own personal opinion should be done on the article's talk page, not the main article itself. Also note that any content which doesn't adhere to a neutral point of view will be removed.Liverpool Scouse 12:53, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I second this point with reference to your comment on my talk page. Please consider using an {{inuse}} tag to advise other users that you are currently working on a page. Thanks Rjwilmsi 13:03, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to Wittering, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. utcursch | talk 13:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree fully with the two previous warnings. In addition, I am now giving you a warning about personal attacks. Calling people weirdos is not acceptible. If you wish to discuss the content of the wittering page, use its talk page. -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 13:06, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Further to your comment on my talk page, let me re-iterate that Wittering is not "your damned page". Look at Wikipedia's tag-line, "the free encyclopaedia that anyone can edit". If you take offence at people editing your work, then don't contribute it in the first place. Also, further to Flyguy649's warning, you might like to read the policy on how to communicate with others at WP:CIVIL. Liverpool Scouse 13:15, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

This is to prevent you carrying out your threats to continue disruption of wittering, per my talk page. You don't own any article on Wikipedia. -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 13:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "the word "my" in no way shape or form indicates a possesive, merely a significant connection to. wittering is "my" page in the sense that no-one has edited it well. ever. other than me. ever. is it really per regulations to allow online bullying of the sort I was subjected to in the past few hours? I'm sure that no-where in the regulations does it say that those who are persistantly attacked by strangers should be blocked. The people who could be bothered to change a webpage to the boring and stuffy old version are weirdos. I cannot see why I have to explain myself and the strange people who are obsessed with possibly the least important page on wikipedia. oh, and, I swear wiki is a dictionary. I certainly use it as such for my biology homework. yes, I'm a kid, yes I'm dyslexic, but I'm, lets say, not exactly average, and so says everyone I've met. I've never met you, so I forgive you for your natural judgement of me. I'm not mad in any way shape or form. please see the light, and by the way, don't go towards it or be blinded by the light. Ben;)"

Decline reason: "The block indicates, appropriately, that you were also blocked for incivility and disruption. Additionally, you clearly and strongly assert ownership over the page.[1]Vassyana 13:51, 16 September 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
