3. Recipient of very prestigious Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Scholarship (JBNSTS), 2004-'5.

4. Among the 25 students selected for admission in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) in 2004.

5. State-level-Topper in Mathematics Aptitude Test (MAT) (2001).

6. State-level-Topper in Achievement-cum-Diagnostic Test in Mathematics (ADTM) (2001) organized by Centre for Pedagogical Studies in Mathematics, India (CPSM).

Projects Undertaken:

  • Designed a 4-bit micro programmed CPU and console under the guidance of Prof. Dipankar Sarkar, Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engg., IIT Kharagpur. The main bottleneck was that the implementation required hardwiring the four-bit pedagogical CPU on breadboard using basic IC chips, keeping in mind timing and other constraints. [Feb - Apr 2006]
  • Done Project on Standalone Microcontroller-based system & completed communication device with IrDA interfacing under the guidance of Prof. Ajit Pal, Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engg., IIT Kharagpur.[June-July 2006]
  • Development of a Compiler for 'Tiny-C', a subset of the C-language for Dec-alpha machine, under the guidance of Prof. Niloy Ganguly, Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engg., IIT Kharagpur. It consists of Design of a parser for tiny-C, generation of intermediate ta-code, Generation of assembly code for Dec-Alpha from the ta-code ,Designing Preprocessor etc.[ Aug - Nov 2006]
  • Designed a Unix Shell in C with provisions for Redirection, Multiple Piping, background execution under the guidance of Prof. Goutam Biswas, Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engg., IIT Kharagpur.[August 2006]
