Talk:Arizona State Prison Complex - Douglas

My biggest fear is that my 21 year old grandson (Level 2, Gila) housing is not street smart and become victimized by shot callers and the like of a institutionalized inmate.
Does my grandson have to pay a co-pay for medical? I know the medical dept. has an attitude to punish inmates because they are considered "as nothing" and feel they have the power to abuse, ignore, and punish any inmate who is really ill! All the medical, so called staff, is to give them motrim. I will write my grandson, visit him a minimum of 2 times a month, to check that he is o.k. 02:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC)buster 71.105.236.251 (talk) 02:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Your son has to pay a $3.00 medical fee unless it is an emergency. The medical staff do not punish any inmate for requesting medical. We even escort them to medical if they get a cut finger or even something that vaquely looks like a black eye. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.214.176.40 (talk) 20:33, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
