[edit] Citations needed

This article is looking much better, but it is seriously lacking in citations. It especially needs a citation for the assertion that it was a pivotal moment. I don't have any of the primary sources, and information is scarce on the web. Otherwise, I would dig some of this stuff up myself. Mycota 05:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Got the citation in there for the pivotal moment. Also added an Aftermath section at the end that helps to frame its significance. Gobonobo T C 02:46, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Change article name

Seeing as there were actually at least 2 other copper mine strikes in Arizona, I'd like to propose moving this to Arizona Miners' Strike of 1983 or something similar. Gobonobo T C 02:50, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Good idea. How about Arizona Copper Mine Strike of 1983? For some reason "Miners' Strike" doesn't feel right to me. I also like the recent additions you made. Nice work. Mycota 00:05, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm going to go ahead and make the move. Gobonobo T C 06:12, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To do list

There should be a summary at Phelps Dodge and a link to this article... Andyvphil (talk) 14:28, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
