[edit] Pronunciation

How is the name of the river pronounced? I was translating the infobox on Colorado to Hindi and since Hindi is a phonetic language I wanted to write the name of the river approximately correctly. Are both a's like the a in father? Or are they both more like a schwa sound like the vowel sound in "the"? Thanks - Taxman ^Talk 17:47, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
