[edit] Basic Gameplay
In the game the player selects a boy or girl playing retro games to appease the Demon Arino (based on the TV show's host Shinya Arino). The Demon Arino gives four challenges to complete for each game.
The games are not actual games, but games created for this game specifically. Many of them are similar in both gameplay and appearance to real Famicom games of those years. They come with fully illustrated manuals.
Occasionally there will be a fake gaming magazine (Game Fan Magazine) that has articles about the games, rankings (with other fictional games named), and "game advice" from Game Center CX ADs who have appeared over the seasons of the tv show.

- Each game has graphics similar to Famicom games of the date that they were "released"... although they do exceed those standards in a small way.
- While completing the tasks for "Star Prince", your character reads in a magazine that a special controller is coming out to "buy". Your friend then "brings you one" allowing you to use the 'Y' button as a "turbo-fire".
- At the end of Season 7 of the TV series, Arino was given a Namco/Bandai company business card and given honorary company employee status by the President of Namco/Bandai. A copy of this card is packaged in with the game.
