Ariyur is a census town in Vellore district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Ariyur had a population of 5429. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Ariyur has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
