Aristeguietia glutinosa is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is found only in Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.

The plant is commonly called "Matico" in Ecuador, whereas everywhere else in South America, Matico is the unrelated Piper aduncum.
