An entertaining picnic in Turkish (Artvin region) tradition that usually takes place in winter. People sing, dance and perform theatrical plays after rams have been slaughtered, kebaps and roasts have been made of its meat, and sweet pastries cooked and eaten. The expenses of the Arifana are paid equally by the participants, although poor and visitors are not required to pay.
