Ariamnes

- Ariamnes is also a spider genus (Theridiidae)
Ariamnes I (in Greek Aριάμνης; lived 4th century BC, ruled 362 BC–330 BC) was satrap of Cappadocia under Persian suzerainty. Son of Datames and father of Ariarathes I and his brother Holophernes, Diodorus tells us that he governed fifty years. 1
