Argo Boat is a dealer of boats and outboard motors. Founded in 1958 in the United States when its original owners immigrated from Greece. Though the company was founded in 1958 the original owners immigrated to the United States during World War II. During this time they were one of the main firms that constructed PT boats for the war effort
Almost since its inception in the United States Argo was an exclusive dealer of Evinrude outboard motors. The owners of Argo formed a very close relationship with Ole Evinrude (the founder of Evinrude Motors) when they were in Greece and the close relationship between the companies has been maintained ever since that time.
