Argentine-Australian relations are foreign relations between Argentina and Australia. Diplomatic relations date back from the time Australia was a Bitish colony. Argentina opened its embassy in Canberra in 1961. Argentina also has a Consulate-General Sydney. Australia has an embassy in Buenos Aires. Both countries are members of the Cairns Group.
