Argentera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southwest of Turin and about 50 km west of Cuneo, on the border with France. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 105 and an area of 77.7 km².[1]
The municipality of Argentera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bersezio, Ferrere, and Le Grange (borgo diroccato).
Argentera borders the following municipalities: Acceglio, Canosio, Larche (France), Pietraporzio, and Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée (France).
