ARfm

ARfm is a UK based Classic Rock radio station that started broadcasting in November 2004 on Sky Freeview platform, part of AppleFM. Following AppleFm's demise in 2006, ARfm continues as a fully licenced internet station.

The founders of ARfm include Tom Reps, the man behind Chilton Broadcast, and Steve Price.

Whilst using the "Classic Rock" banner, ARfm actually include a great deal of modern releases in their output (future classic rock), metal from DJ Neil & Torch plus Neely & Chris, a tendency to concentrate on the (Melodic Rock) bands of today and yesterday with Steve Price, along with Southern Rock & Blues from Lightnin' Jack & Paul Chamberlain, plus a staple diet of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Guns N' Roses etc.

Bands like Whitesnake, Toto, Alice Cooper, Styx, Journey and Jethro Tull have all appeared on the station and recorded interviews. Regular live telephone interviews with the Rock Stars appear to be a regular feature.

Presenters, past and present, include Paul Baker, Adrian Juste, Torch, Paul Chamberlain, April, Bruce Gall, Ashley Franklin, Ralph Winser, Steve Price, Neely & Chris, Donna C, Lightnin Jack Cane, Ben Fletcher, Dj's Simon & Neil, and Joe Dray.
