[edit] Mixed internal and external links

I understand what you're trying to accomplish, but as this template exists today it mixes article references that should be under a "See also" section header, and external links that should be under an "External links" header. I'm not sure you can accomplish the correct split with a single template since these sections may already exist in articles where you add the template. —RandallJones 22:09, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. Also, why is the link to List of ZIP Codes in the United States part of this template?—msh210 18:54, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Per WP:GTL, external links don't belong in a See also section, so I've cleaned up the external links. areacode-info.com is all over; I'm worried it's just to drive traffic to the site for advertising. A link to a 60-year-old area code map hardly seems relevant. There's an internal link to NAMP (and it's free to have an external link to NAMP), so I don't see why it's needed here. -- Mikeblas 10:49, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

This template should be deleted for the following reasons:

I don't see any way to redeem this template. It should be removed completely from the area code articles. The two internal links should be listed under the "See also" section of each article, while the relevant NANPA map link should be included separately under the "External links" section.
