[edit] Moved from Arezzo, Italy
Arezzo, Itally is a town near the birthplace of Gianfrancesco, also known as Giovanni Francesco Poggio Bracciolini, a famous humanist of the Italian Renaissance. (unsigned, User:Kosebamse, 11 Jun 2003)

Folded in material improperly found under province of Arezzo; removed Michelangelo birthplace (he was born quite some distance away, at the town now called Caprese Michelangelo; am none too sure about Maecenas despite the widespread presumption and consequent boosterism, although he was from the general region (left him in). Englished the article a bit. Article still needs a good deal of work, but will have to find someone with more time than yours truly, Bill 14:30, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- Removed potentially libelous statement, hard to verify, about drug market: Arezzo is a small place and that campground can be identified.
- "Episcopal" is capitalized when used as a synonym for "Episcopalian", but in the sense of "pertaining to a bishop" is lower-case; as is "bishop" except as a title (i.e., "the bishop of Arezzo", but "Bishop Guglielmino").
- Cortona is not particularly nearby by Italian standards, it's just in the province: the book (and later, movie) is irrelevant to the city of Arezzo, barely mentioning it if at all.

- You might want to take a look at Wikipedia's policy on this kind of thing, at Wikipedia:External links. FlagSteward (talk) 18:24, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
