now arella was abused as a child ran away to the church of satan she thouht it was a chriten church and people in the church were trying to raise the devil instead they raised a demon arella did not know so she fell in love with him they had sex but as soon has the seed was in her he changed into a demon arella ran away from the church as soon as she was out of site she was about to kill herself but this women took her to azarath just in time. there raven was born but they changed her name to racheal there she was raised. when her mother told her about what happend before she was born so she ran away to go get help from the titans.

The way I read the comics Angela was pretty clearly raped by Trigon. I even recall Marv Wolfman using the word "raped" in an interview where he talked about Raven's origin.
