Arendt & Medernach is the largest law firm based in Luxembourg, with more than two hundred fifty attorneys, and offices in Luxembourg City, Brussels, London, and, since September 2005, New York City, and additionally, an alliance with the Dublin-based Dillon Eustace law firm.
[edit] History
The firm was founded in 1988 following the merger between the Arendt & Harles and Mersch & Medernach law firms.
In recent years, Arendt & Medernach was notably involved in the merger between Arcelor and Mittal Steel [1], which, as of 2008 stands as the eighth-largest European merger of the 2000s [2]. Said merger led to the creation of Arcelor Mittal in 2006.
