"Are You Happy Now?" is a song by the singer Michelle Branch which was released as the first out of two singles released from her 2003 album Hotel Paper. "Are You Happy Now?" was more successful than "Breathe" on the Billboard Hot 100 (peaking at #16, reaching the Top 20) and on the UK Singles Chart. ("Breathe" had not charted at all). The song was written by Michelle Branch and John Shanks.
The single contains the song, a non-album single called "Wanting Out", and an acoustic and live version of the song "Hotel Paper"
The single was nominated for a 2004 Grammy Award in the "Female Rock Performance" category, against the likes of Avril Lavigne with Losing Grip and P!nk with Trouble (Pink song), losing out to the latter.
