Ardagh (Ard Mhaca)is a growing community in North Mayo, located slightly to the south of Ballina, North Mayo's largest and fastest growing town. Ballina is roughly divided into three distinct regions- What the locals call Ardnaree, Ballina and Back The Park. The latter,Back The Park,is situated on the West Side of Ballina, and is the nearest urban centre to Ardagh.
