Hi Billy227,

thanks for taking the time to contact me. First of all, I'd like to apologize to you for not getting back to you earlier. Unfortunately, I'm extremely busy right now with a real life project and I've had to put my script related work on the back burner for a while. I had attempted to make Tags compatible with wikiEd in the past but that somehow broke a anti-vandalism script. Working around that snafu, in turn, broke Tags. ;) I'd be happy to look into this matter again when my schedule clears up a bit in a week or two though. :)

Nope, turns out it was my fault; I checked the logs first, didn't see a "account registered" item, and jumped to a confusion. If you read the link I sent you (this one), you'll find that this counts as a "trivial edit". Yes, I know that this is through WP:AWB, although removing a single line of whitespace is generally frowned upon, as either way it shows up and clutters the history of the page in question. Lamar High School Vandalism?

Why did you mark my edit to Lamar High School as vandalism? I cited the information and attended the school when the event occured. It is true information. - Zvinx

I think you may be over-reactive or hyper-active on vandalism reversion. I do not agree with or understand this reversion of yours: Neel Burton article reversion. I also don't understand what is going on with the Billy / Billy227 confusion, nor do I understand what's up with your masquerading as a Bot (i.e. Shutoff button and other attributes). Your talk page is cluttered with non-standard formatting. I think if you want to be an Administrator, you need to rethink, and go for a more straight-forward, no-nonsense approach. I'd like to refer to that page. In the sentence, it reads

"AWB must not be used for trivial edits like this, where all you do is remove some whitespace."

Simply because you "feel" something doesn't neccesarily mean it's correct - it's inconsistent to have them at different locations on the page. Tim{speak} 15:16, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
It's a matter of personal preference. It doesn't really matter where they are. And my reasoning is that I feel that the information in an article "ends", so to speak, right before References (or See also or External links). It's not a matter of personal preference - the point is, we're trying to build an encyclopedia, and to do so, it must be consistent (otherwise it would be a mess). In every article I have seen (other than that one after you edited it, obviously), templates like those go on the bottom of the page. If all the other articles were like this, then yes, that's fine. Removal of wikify template

Concerning your talk page

May I recommend getting rid of that table (at the top) on your talk page? it makes the page load funny on slower internet connections, is generally frowned upon in web design, and it is not a standard on Wikipedia. Inappropriate whitespace changes using AWB

Regarding this change, note that the whitespace changes (reverted here) made the article not adhere to the whitespace conventions for album articles (see WP:ALBUM#Infobox). Could you configure your AWB to not make such changes. Thanks in advance. --PEJL 22:25, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
