[edit] Image:Month8fetus.jpg
Some questions have been raised regarding your recently uploaded image Image:Month8fetus.jpg. You picked GFDL-self license from the drop down menu, and manually typed in {{GFDL-self}} which put the same template on the image twice. However, you mentioned twice "fair use" and linked to another license. This is confusing. Did you mean to release this image under the GFDL? or something else. Also, another editor has cropped out the watermark due to our Wikipedia:Image use policy: Also, user-created images may not be watermarked, distorted, have any credits in the image itself or anything else that would hamper their free use, unless, of course, the image is intended to demonstrate watermarking, distortion etc. and is used in the related article. All photo credit should be in a summary on the image description page.. If we can clear up the copyright issues, it would be great. A while back wikipedia lost all of its medical/fetal diagrams because the US government (which is usually copyright free, and the source of our original images) ended up subcontracting out the creation of pregnancy diagrams that ended up being copyrighted. -Andrew c 01:19, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
