User:Arcege
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arcege is the nickname for a certain computer hacker (not cracker) that has been on the networks for what some might consider quite a while. The name came from adding vowels to the initials R.C.G. During high school, Arcege wrote computer programs, and thought to write games in his future. He thought up the fictional company name Reilly Computer Games (R.C.G.). He also had and interest in Artificial Intelligence and wrote a program similar to ELIZA which I called Arcege. In college, he started chatting on BITNET and needed a unique nickname. "Arcege" seemed perfectly suited. It has been used ever since that spring in 1987.
