Is it just me or did all of the mention of Gaydamak's more unsavory past in weapons dealing/smuggling magically disappear? This is classically fishy. I'll try and do some more thorough research soon. 147.161.1.25 11:43, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

He was born in the Moscow, not in Ukrain.

It has received some honourable awards from the government of France.

"France has unsuccessfully attempted to obtain his extradition from Israel, but this has been declined by the Israeli judiciary..." israeli judiciary didn't decline an extradition request, as one was never submitted. 83.130.199.250 (talk) 15:52, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] gaydamak did not serve in the Israely Deffence Force at all

all that known for sure that he had worked on ZIM -Israely civil navy.(not involved with the army). allthough he was at the right age,from some reason he was not drafted (army service is a duty by law for all Jewish males ,18 years old in Israel). please clarify the page or conduct further inquirey on this particiular matter.
