[edit] Notes

  1. ^ a b "Dancefloor" hit #3 on the US Bubbling Under Chart in May of 2006, which translates to #103 on the US Charts. Exactly one year later, "Brianstorm" hit #14 on the same chart which translates to #114.
  2. ^ "Fake Tales of San Francisco" was released as a radio only single in the United States and The Netherlands.
  3. ^ "Brianstorm" also reached #1 on the "Hot Singles Sales" chart on the Billboard Charts, a separate chart from the Billboard Hot 100. It also hit #96 on the Billboard Pop 100, which is also a separate chart from the Billboard Hot 100 [1]
  4. ^ a b This is from the Mediabase Airplay charts.
  5. ^ The week of Favourite Worst Nightmares release, an error on the iTunes website caused every download of the album to register as a download for each single track. This caused every song on the album to chart in the UK Top 200. [2]. The problem was corrected the next week. In this, only two songs that were not the current single ("Brianstorm") peaked in the Top 75, "Fluorescent Adolescent" (#60) [3] and "505" (#74) [4]. "Fluorescent Adolescent" later reached #23 before physical release on downloads.
  • Budget albums are excluded from the published UK Album Charts Official Charts (3.3)
  • Additional tracks that have charted in the UK Official Download Chart are "Settle for a Draw" (#37, from the When the Sun Goes Down single), "The View from the Afternoon" (#75), "Who the Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys" (#36), "Despair in the Departure Lounge" (#47), "No Buses" (#49) and "Cigarette Smoker Fiona" (#50) (all from the Who the Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys EP, "The View from the Afternoon" also appears on Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not). These songs were not released as singles and chart peaks are based on downloads.
